In this exciting role, you will support business strategic initiatives and drive performance across multiple departments by using your Datawarehouse (DWH), BI and ETL skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as Data Engineer with a focus on DWH within the banking industry
- Experience within BI and ETL fields
- Strong know-how of relational databases such as Oracle
- Experience in the design and implementation of ETL/data processes, preferably with Informatica Powercenter
- Mastery of data modeling and advanced SQL skills (on stored procedure level)
- Strong knowledge of Business Analytics tools, experience with Informatica would be an advantage
- Motivated and dedicated personality with strong communication skills
- Analytical and structured mindset, solution-oriented, and excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
Responsibilities
- Leading the DWH and ETL component of the bank-wide transformation and business project
- Actively participate in defining the roadmap and future of BI and DWH in the bank
- Identify opportunities to optimize and automate data processes across the Bank
- Managing the schedule, dependencies, and resources for assigned projects
- Contribute to the improvement of data governance issues such as data management, data lifecycle, data protection, etc.
- Ensuring the availability, integrity, and quality of the data in the DWH
- Working closely with various stakeholders within the business, IT, and offshore support teams
- Analyzing business requirements, data modeling, ETL design, and development
